Stella Verdult graduated in 2010 from the art academy Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam, specializing in the study of colour. For the following years she lived in Paris where she worked for Lacoste as the design assistant to the creative director. After Paris she moved to Spain to work for Zara Inditex as a senior womenswear designer. Within this last job she designed countless collections, visited factories all over the world and was a crucial team member of the trend and colour department. After 5 years abroad she moved back to The Netherlands to start her own company, specialising in sustainable strategy and durable design.

As a freelance creative strategist and sustainable designer Stella Verdult offers durable and sustainable guidance to textile and fashion companies by suggesting new designs, colour palettes, fabrics, quality standards, and most of all, a sustainable strategy for all the steps that are involved in designing and producing a durable product.

Born in Eindhoven (1986) and having lived in 8 cities across 3 different continents, her cultural background gives her a unique perspective that is seamlessly weaved through her professional and creative work.
